Peter is actively involved in industry, trade, and standards groups such as NRF, GS1 and RVCF. In addition, he is currently an advisory board member to the Center for Supply Chain Research at Lehigh University where he actively participates in industry research.
He is frequently published, a sought-after speaker, and host of “The Connected Show”, a video blog that connects viewers to the people and news that influence today’s integrated supply chains.
Peter is a veteran of the U.S. Navy and attended Central Texas College and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University where he studied aviation and business management.
Nishita Cummings is a partner for Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors’ growth equity activities. She is responsible for identifying and analyzing investment opportunities, monitoring of portfolio companies, and deal execution.
Prior to joining Kayne Anderson in 2007, Ms. Cummings worked at Boston Avenue Capital, a value oriented activist hedge fund focused on micro-cap and small-cap public companies, where she focused on investments in retail/apparel, medical technology, and software companies. Additionally, Ms. Cummings has held positions at LEK Consulting and the Wharton Small Business Development Center.
Ms. Cummings attended the University of Pennsylvania where she pursued a B.S. in Economics with a concentration in Finance from the Wharton School and a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences from the School of Engineering.
David is an automotive supply chain industry veteran with over 30 years of expertise. David was previously the President and CEO of Covisint an industry leader founded by the Detroit Three automakers to provide secure B2B Integration transport. David led the company during a period of high growth and completed an IPO of the company in 2013.
David’s career includes senior leadership positions in IT at Ford Motor Company, President and CEO of Covisint from 2008 – 2014, a co-founder and CEO of high tech startup FreightVerify, a cloud-based freight logistics technology company and Tier 7 Ventures, a growth stage consulting service focused on operational performance and strategic market positioning.
Mr. McGuffie received his degree in Business Administration from Central Michigan University.
