FedEx Approves DiCentral’s Parcel Delivery Solution for Integration

Houston TX, June 6, 2011 – DiCentral Corporation, a leading innovator in EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and supply chain solutions, has received official word from FedEx Corporation that its parcel delivery solution, DiTransit, has been approved for FedEx integration. The integration of DiTransit with FedEx will be greatly beneficial for DiCentral customers who rely upon FedEx for much of their shipping needs.

DiCentral’s DiTransit automates the process of integrating suppliers’ EDI data with their parcel delivery data. Without this integration, suppliers must utilize multiple systems to cut and paste carton IDs, tracking numbers, and bill-of-lading numbers—which requires extra effort and extra time spent on each and every shipment. DiTransit allows Advanced Shipping Notices (ASNs) to be integrated directly with carrier information, while labels can be created instantly with a click of the mouse. In addition, the system is completely web-based, eliminating the need for costly, localized software that requires downloading and testing.

DiTransit’s built-in reporting capability provides automated shipping reports and supplies historical reports regarding past shipments, searchable by store and by date. As well, all parcel delivery account data is populated and the user is free to choose the type of delivery service, ship date, delivery, printer and label format.
