SNP Selects DiCentral as Technology Partner for B2B Data Exchange Infrastructure
Houston TX, December 5, 2011 – DiCentral today announced that SNP (Saigon Newport Corporation) has selected DiCentral to provide software infrastructure to allow data exchange between SNP and its worldwide customers. The first phase of the project electronically connects SNP to 150 shipping companies, including Maersk Lines, Wanhai Shipping Lines, China Shipping Line, Evergreen Line, Mitsui O.S.K. Line, OOCL Line, Hanjin Shipping, Yang Ming, Hapag-Lloyd, Nippon Yusen Kaisha, Mediterranean Shipping, APL (American President), and Hyundai Merchant. This initiative is a first-of-its-kind EDI data integration project in Vietnam's shipping industry.
After analyzing the needs of SNP, DiCentral offered a combined solution using three products: DiTranslator, an EDI translator package (Formally Mercator Trading Partner); DiUnite, an any-to-any data mapping tool; and DiConnect, a complete enterprise communication platform. Another critical factor in the selection was DiCentral's ability to adapt easily to future changing e-commerce environments. SNP expects their measure of DSO to be reduced over the long-term as a result.
