Quick Tip from DiSupport: Sort Feature

In your mailbox, the column headers at the top of the document list describe important identifying data. Clicking on an underlined column header name will sort the list by that column. The triangle icon appearing next to the column header name indicates ascending or descending order.

Decorware Simplifies Processes with DiIntegrator for QuickBooks

Headquartered in Chino, California, and founded in 2000 by Henry Wang & Ming–Hua Cheng, Decorware, Inc. manufactures a variety of scented candles. One of their current buyers is Anna’s Linens.

The Challenge: Old EDI System Required Manual Adjustments.

Decorware was receiving purchase orders for items in quantities of three from Anna’s Linens. Since Decorware sells products in case packs of six items, they were splitting the case packs when ordered by Anna’s Linens. Their current EDI provider was unable to handle challenges with UCC–128 labels and packing so Decorware was faced with manually adjusting their Advanced Ship Notices (ASNs). Not only were these manual processes time consuming, but they created errors resulting in EDI related charge–backs.

The Solution: DiIntegrator for QuickBooks

By utilizing DiCentral’s DiIntegrator for QuickBooks, Decorware was able to adjust ASNs and create labels for their orders with Anna’s Linens. A cross–reference table was added to their DiIntegrator system so they would be able to create ASNs with preloaded style numbers. Decorware can now process and produce UCC-128 labels for split and pre–pack orders. The labels can be printed on site using a thermal or laser printer through DiCentral’s advanced EDI solution.

DiIntegrator is a powerful desktop solution that can integrate with QuickBooks for automatic input and synchronization of EDI data. It delivers an advanced solutions suite that is easy to implement, affordable, and highly scalable.

The advantages of using DiIntegrator for QuickBooks include elimination of manual data re–keying and duplicate data entry, prevention of manual data entry errors, reduction of costly and unnecessary charge–backs, transparent data migration, and the assurance that invoice data is accurate and validated before exporting to QuickBooks.

Quick Tip from DiSupport: Search/Filter Feature

If you’re having difficulty locating a particular document in your mailbox, the Search/Filter feature can find it. This feature also allows you to sort large numbers of documents by specified criteria. You can search by Document Type, Sender (From), Store Number, Status, Date, and Document ID Number. The number of criteria you place on the search is your choice. After selecting the desired criteria, click Search. Your mailbox will automatically refresh, displaying the results. To clear the search filter, click Show All. The full contents of the mailbox screen will appear.
