We are at an exciting juncture at DiCentral. This month we are launching our new slogan, “We are EDI… and More”. “More” reflects the myriad of technology, products, and services we provide that go well beyond what other EDI companies provide.
When we were founded in the summer of 2000, our mission was to provide powerful, efficient, and easy-to-use EDI services. In addressing the EDI market, we explored opportunities to provide innovative solutions to problems occurring throughout the entire supply chain network. Our hard work has produced a superior suite of products, and shaped how our company has grown.

Community Outreach
At DiCentral, we are about more than just business. We enjoy being a part of our community, showing our support for worthy causes. We recently participated in the 27th annual Channel 13 KTRK’s Share Your Holidays Food Drive on December 5, 2007. The food drive was held from dawn until dusk at the Fonde Recreation Center near downtown Houston, Texas. DiCentral donated a large amount of canned goods and other non perishable food. Our very own Mario Reyes and Jimmy Payne delivered our donations to the Center and participated in the event. The food donated at this grand event was given to the Houston Food Bank, where it was distributed to over 4,000 families in need.
DiCentral was proud to work with the International Association of Microsoft Certified Partners (IAMCP) to collect and donate food. The IAMCP, formed in 1994, provides Microsoft partners a voice into Microsoft. Its focus is on maximizing the business potential of Microsoft partners through networking, community outreach, and other various events. As a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, DiCentral enjoys collaborating with Microsoft for business as well as community purposes.

DiCentral recently attended the SAP® North America Field Kick Off Meeting (FKOM) at the Venetian Resort in Las Vegas on January 13-16. At the conference, which was developed around the theme “Take it Higher”, SAP presented its strategy for the upcoming year. Attending the conference were Jesse Rancifer, Keith Arnett, Don Quatacker, John Nguyen, Huan Le, and Eric Braswell. Interacting with the attendees, collaborating on innovative ideas, and presenting our own break-out seminar were some of the accomplishments DiCentral made at this special event. By partnering with SAP, DiCentral is poised to maximize the EDI possibilities for our customers. Through this partnership, we offer SAP users new ways to boost the efficiency of their solutions. “Supporting SAP, its partners, and customers are essential components of our growth strategy at DiCentral,” said Eric Braswell, senior director of Global Channels at DiCentral.

Top Heavy Clothing, one of our valued customers, uses DiIntegrator to process large groups of orders. Mike Reynolds, IS Manager at Top Heavy Clothing, states,
“At Top Heavy Clothing, we have come to love our software provided by DiCentral. Top Heavy uses the DiIntegrator software installed on a local system to process EDI orders. We use the DiAnalyst to view dynamic reports on Point of Sale activity and inventory status at the retailer. We also use the DiCentral website to view, organize and review data transactions. We process thousands, sometimes 10’s of thousands of transactions per month with DiCentral.
The system is easy to use, especially in processing EDI from JCPenney Retail. The previous software packages we used offered minimal autopack features and complex packing assignments to each object in the system. With DiCentral’s autopack feature, especially the “super pack” option we can combine multiple UPC’s into standard box configurations, we have decreased our packing time on JCPenney orders from hours to a few minutes. Integration with the JCP TMS routing system via 753 is nearly effortless.”
