LANSA and DiCentral Announce Data Synchronization Partnership

DOWNERS GROVE, Ill.--Jan. 17, 2006--LANSA and DiCentral, the EDI service provider located in Houston, Texas, have signed a partnership agreement to market and implement LANSA Data Sync Direct to small- and medium-sized businesses as a behind-the-firewall solution as well as a fully certified hosted data synchronization service. This partnership enables suppliers to continue utilizing DiCentral's hosted EDI services or leverage their existing infrastructure - and still comply with the Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN) standards. LANSA Data Sync Direct is a scalable end-to-end business solution that makes it easy for manufacturers and distributors to comply with retailer requests for exchanging item information via the GDSN.

Food manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors that sell to retail chains are joining the industry wide initiative to publish their item information through the GS1 Global Registry(TM) service. For most food, CPG and hardlines suppliers and distributors, the deadline to become compliant with data synchronization will fall within this year.
