DIintergrator Complies Efforlessly With JC Penny's T.M.S. Program
If you find yourself spending too much time processing JCPenney orders or have a hard time complying with their Transportation Management System (TMS) program, DiCentral has a solution for you.
DiCentral is now offering DiIntegrator, a unique solution enabling you to complete a JCPenney order in a little less than five minutes. DiIntegrator - complemented by its TMS - wizard will enable you to comply with the most sophisticated of your trading partners’ requirements. With DiIntegrator, you can:
Easily process massive amounts of data.
- Allocate available inventory across thousands of stores.
- Effortlessly send the 753 (Routing Request).
- Automatically update your 856 (Advance Shipping Notice) after recei ving the 754 (Response to request for Routing).

How TMS wizard works:
DiCentral’s TMS wizard is a add-on of DiIntegrator desktop solution. Combined with DiIntegrator, the TMS wizard will allow you to rapidly reassign orders and cartons and update your Advance Shipping Notices after receiving changes in routing instructions.
TMS wizard will automate the allocation of shipment information necessary to build the Request for Routing. Routing request numbers, weights, container characteristics and contact information will be issued by the system. When you receive your Response to Request for Routing , the TMS wizard interprets and imports the routing instructions from your Trading Partner to create compliant Shipments and Advance Shipping Notices.

Federico Restrepo Named Director in South America
DiCentral Corporation has named Federico Restrepo as Director of Business Development of its new Colombian subsidiary. Restrepo gave DIbrief a short interview by phone from his office in Medellin.

Q: What did you do before joining DiCentral?
A: I spent the last four years with the jewelry manufacturer Sequin. As director of logistics, I was in charge of the EDI department and I processed orders from their American retailers.
Q: Why did you join DiCentral?
A: As a user of DiCentral’s services I was so satisfied that I decided to come on board. As director of logistics, being in charge of EDI in previous job, I’ve become pretty knowledgeable about retailers’ requirements as well as suppliers’ needs and frustrations. I know DiCentral has great potential, and I’m looking forward to developing its operations in Colombia.
Q: What are your plans for DiCentral Colombia?
A: My ambition is to build DiCentral Colombia to rival the strength of DiCentral North America in sales and customer service. Ultimately, DiCentral should become the preferred EDI provider for Colombia and the South American markets.

DiCentral Serves Florida's Skincare Fullfillment Center
M&S Fulfillment is not just any warehouse. The Skincare fulfillment center specializes in servicing cosmetic manufacturers from all over the world.
“Customer satisfaction is our number one priority” says Alena Young, office manager and EDI coordinator at the company’s West Palm Beach facility. “As a fulfillment center, we handle everything for our customers. We store their product lines, receive their orders, prepare them, pack and ship them”.
In order to reach an optimum level of service, the warehouse has implemented a continuous replenishment program.
“Our business relationships are collaborative” says Young. “We share the information in real time with our customers who can consult their account any time. Whether they want to check their invoices, orders or level of stock, the information is available. And when their stock needs to be replenished, we will notify them”.
One of M&S Fulfillment keys to efficiency is Electronic Data Interchange which is outsourced to DiCentral.
“The specificity of the industry and changing requirements of retailers are reasons why outsourcing makes sense” saysYoung.
How this works:
M&S, which receives the electronic documents from retailers on behalf of their clients, opens an account with DiCentral on behalf of their customers and process their EDI documents.
In line with M&S’s philosophy, customers still have full control and visibility over their accounts and can access their EDI data whenever they wish.
User friendly software and excellent customer support
EDI management is one of the many tasks Alena Young performs everyday. An easy to use system is therefore crucial to her work.
“With its user friendly and fast processing system, DiCentral is exactly what we needed. I don’t have exact figures about the time saved” she says, “but I like the product and know that I am using a system designed to prevent errors while increasing my user’s comfort makes a big difference”.
Another positive side for Young is DiCentral’s customer support. “It feels good dealing with a company that has the same philosophy and responsiveness as we do,” she says.
