BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Thuy Mai,
Mr. Mai, Chairman and CEO of DiCentral, is responsible for overall company management, direction and strategy. Prior to DiCentral, he was co-founder of Maingate Corporation. With over 20 years of industry experience, he has worked for United Space Alliance, Unisys, and AT&T Bell Laboratories. Mr. Mai earned a B.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science, and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
John Nguyen,
Mr. Nguyen, EVP and Chief Strategy Officer of DiCentral, is responsible for the company’s business strategy. Prior to DiCentral, he was an equity research analyst at Lazard Freres Co & LLC. With over 20 years of technology industry experience, he has worked for AT&T, Siemens, Alcatel, and Nortel. Mr. Nguyen earned an M.S. and B.S. in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology and Aurora University in Chicago, Illinois.
Daniel Carroll Sr.,
Mr. Carroll is the Chairman of The Carroll Group, a consulting firm specializing in business strategies. Mr. Carroll has had over 50 years of management experience, serving as President and Chief Executive Officer of Hoover Universal Inc., President & Chief Operating Officer of Gould Inc., and President of the Management Consulting Division of Booz Allen & Hamilton, Inc. Earlier he was employed by the Navy Department as a management engineer. In addition to service on the boards of several closely held businesses, Mr. Carroll has held directorships in twenty publicly held corporations and has served two of the latter corporations as the non-executive Chairman of the Board. He holds a BA in Government from Dartmouth College, obtained an MA in Political Science from the University of Minnesota, and pursued doctoral studies in Political Science and Social Psychology at the University of Chicago.
Trung Dung,
For more than 10 years, Trung has invested and co-founded multiple information technology companies. Trung is currently a Managing Director of V-Home Group, an investment company focusing on opportunities in Vietnam. Trung serves on the board of DiCentral, BlueKey Services, Fogbreak Software. Earlier, Trung was the founder, Chief Technology Officer of OnDisplay, a provider of Business-to-Business Integration Software. Trung helped grow OnDisplay from a product concept to an enterprise software company that was one of the ten most successful IPOs of 1999 and was ultimately acquired by Vignette Corporation in 2000 for $1.8 billion. In 2005, Trung was appointed by President George W. Bush to serve on the board of the Vietnam Education Foundation.
Trung has completed postgraduate work in Computer Science at Boston University and holds Bachelor Degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts. Trung's personal and professional story has been profiled in many leading publications including Forbes, the Financial Times, the Wall Street Journal, the San Francisco Chronicle, People magazine, etc. and in books such as: "The American Dream" by Dan Rather, "The Incredible Payback: Innovative Sourcing Solutions That Deliver Extraordinary Results" by Dave Nelson, et al.
Tom Do,
Over the course of his career Tom Do has worked with airlines, aircraft manufacturers, leasing companies, financial institutions, and other businesses related to aviation, providing consulting services including strategic fleet planning, sales/marketing support, as well as transaction structuring and negotiating. From 1986 to 1991, Mr. Do was the Engineering Manager of Ground Support Products for McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Company in Long Beach, California. From 1991 to 1996, he was Director of Business Development for Boeing Aircraft Company in South East Asia. Both his experience and background have provided Mr. Do with an expertise in management, marketing, sales and contracting for multi-million dollar aviation operations specific to South-East Asia. Mr. Do holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California (USC) and has maintained the position of President and CEO of Coastline Beauty College in Fountain Valley, California since 1997.
